PLEASE NOTE: This app is no longer being maintained. We are leaving it on the App Store because some people still download the app and find it useful, but we will be focusing our development efforts on other projects. This means some features of the app may become outdated and buggy and remain that way for the foreseeable future. Chetawani is Nepali for "Warning." The app provides access to the community-driven Open Street Map emergency response map of effected areas as well as links to a small variety of emergency resources by third party organizations. This app was made by two student volunteers from the United World College Costa Rica. Please contact us with any suggestions, questions or ideas. The app is also open source and can be found on GitHub (just search Chetawani). We are doing our best to verify all information presented by the app (with contacts on the ground in Nepal), but of course in such a chaotic situation it is never really possible to know if anything is 100% accurate, so please excuse us for any mistakes.
Requires iOS 9.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

To install Chetawani on your iOS device, just click the green Continue To App button above to start the installation process. The app is listed on our website since 2015-05-10 and was downloaded 2 times. Your antivirus may detect the Chetawani as malware if the download link is broken.
How to install Chetawani on your iOS device:
- Click on the Continue To App button on our website. This will redirect you to the App Store.
- Once the Chetawani is shown in the iTunes listing of your iOS device, you can start its download and installation. Tap on the GET button to the right of the app to start downloading it.
- If you are not logged-in the iOS appstore app, you'll be prompted for your your Apple ID and/or password.
- After Chetawani is downloaded, you'll see an INSTALL button to the right. Tap on it to start the actual installation of the iOS app.
- Once installation is finished you can tap on the OPEN button to start it. Its icon will also be added to your device home screen.
